Snapmarket is a marketing agency registered in the state of Texas, USA.

What we collect

When you browse the site

The site uses Framer’s built-in analytics, which records aggregate page views and referrers. It does not set advertising cookies and does not identify you individually.

When you subscribe to Field notes

The signup form is provided by Ghost, which stores your email address so we can send you the newsletter. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.

When you use the contact form

We collect the name, email address and message you submit. The form posts to our own API at api.snapmarket.co, hosted on Vercel, and is protected from spam by Cloudflare Turnstile.

Other services that receive data

Loading any web page shares your IP address with the services that deliver it. For this site those are Framer (hosting), Google Fonts (typefaces), jsDelivr (the newsletter script), Ghost (newsletter and article content) and Cloudflare (bot protection).

Legal basis

Where UK or EU data protection law applies, we rely on legitimate interests for aggregate analytics and site security, and on consent for the newsletter.

How long we keep it

Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact enquiries are kept for as long as we need them to respond and to keep a record of the conversation.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data, and to object to how we use it. UK and EU residents can complain to their supervisory authority. We do not sell or share personal information.
